About VIP Groups

VIP group makes group chat awesome! Upgrade to VIP group and enjoy a better service.
In VIP groups, some feature restrictions are removed and advertisements are cleaned. We will even equip service staff for VIP groups to answer questions and solve problems as soon as possible. More special features of VIP groups will be coming soon.

How to upgrade to VIP?

Newly created groups are common groups, you can upgrade them to VIP immediately.
As long as you are a group member, you can upgrade the group to VIP.

You can upgrade to VIP here:
* On "My Account" - "My Groups" page, click "Upgrade" link behind the group.
* In the group site, upgrade the group on "Group Settings" - "Upgrade to VIP or Recharge" page.

Special Features for VIP Groups

* On Search page, VIP groups are highlighted in red bold, along with a VIP icon.
* VIP groups are settled in VIP server which has higher speed and better stability.
* For the group name, "Powered by http://groups.im" is removed.
* The number of admins will be up to 25 from 10.
* Group chat logs will be kept for 30 days(for Windwos Live Messenger only temporarily).
* No sponsor advertisements will be shown in the group chat window, the activity panel and the group site.
